OUR REFLEXIONS
In my opinión is very important to recognize this types of errors ,from confusing vowel sounds to mispronouncing certain consonants, there are plenty of common errors that many English learners fall into. Its important to know that Improving our pronunciation is not about sounding native, it’s about making ourselves understood. The word ‘bien’ sounds more like ‘vine’, and ‘bote’ sounds like ‘vote’. So its important to know the context and meaning to not get confused.
I enjoy this activity because now I know many errors that I ignore and I would try to work in the ones I have and I’ll try to teach in the best way to my students one day!

As a Spanish speaker I think it is more difficult to find errors, and we have to be more careful because many sounds of English do not exist in Spanish, and because of that we think that many errors are correct, and as a student, in this practice I realized that it is necessary to be focused and have patience, even to perform exercises is not easy, since you need to find the right point where the student is able to develop.
I always enjoy a new project, because I always learn something new. Facing something new implies working in the unknown, which always brings difficulties. As Spanish speakers we have many mistakes in our language, imagine in another language, and yes, it is difficult to detect errors and do exercises for students, but that is why we strive every day to be better and to be able to share what we learn, that’s what it is all about, sharing our knowledge so that new generations do not have our problems.

It has been a very useful assignment to learn more about correcting pronunciation errors, which is something we are going to work with when we become teachers. And in this case it was about pronunciation errors of Spanish speakers who are learning English, so it helped me to practice some sounds that I needed to practice to improve my pronunciation while I was looking for some exercises to add to the blog.
While I was looking for information about the mistakes I was going to talk about in the blog I could see that it is not so difficult to find information about these problems that some Spanish speakers have when pronouncing certain sounds, so nowadays either as teachers or as students we should take advantage of the many tools that are on the internet to improve our English pronunciation skills.
